I have been using a Space Invaders character as my avatar for a while now. But I thought it was a good time to update it. So I used Cartoonify and did my best to make it look a bit like me. However I don’t think it captures how old I really am! I tried to make the hair look a bit grey. I’m very happy as I am just about to have it cut short again.

I chose red for the clothes because that is my favourite colour and it seems most of my clothes are red. I chose light blue for the background as that is my school house – Clarke.

This week’s challenge has some fantastic tips and advice about using music, and where to get it.

And lots of fun challenges to make your own music or playlist.

The new topic this week is to take a virtual excursion (or “field trip” for the Americans).

Images are a form of property, i.e. someone owns them. Some people allow others to use their images and this is called Creative Commons.

You can find images on Google that have these licences. In your search, click Tools then choose Usage Rights > Creative Commons.

Here is your blog buddy in the other class. Look up their blog, read some posts and comment.

This challenge is a great opportunity to fool around with image-making software. There is a great list of apps and websites where you can make your own.
